John Arnold, CEO of Southwest Wealth Strategies, is a seasoned financial professional with 26 years of experience, dedicated to helping enhance clients’ financial well-being. A graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in finance (1999), John holds the prestigious Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) professional designation, reflecting his expertise in delivering high-level financial guidance. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, he leads the practice with a focus on helping add value to clients’ financial situations while overseeing daily operations.

John serves three distinct client groups: those at retirement, emerging affluent individuals and enterprise clients (small businesses). His primary goal is to help empower clients to live their desired lifestyles with confidence, achieved through smart, CFP® professional-level financial decisions. Clients rely on John’s dependability and responsiveness, traits that he believes foster trust and help ensure their needs are met promptly and effectively. He believes his extensive experience sets him apart, providing a depth of insight and strategic acumen that clients value.

Originally from Minnesota, John now calls Scottsdale home, where he lives with his wife, Allyson, and their four children: Conley, Alexandra, Peyton and Austin. Outside the office, John is deeply engaged in community service as an active member of The Scottsdale Charros, a 501(c)(3) organization that raises and distributes funds to support local needs. He finds joy in driving his children to their sporting activities and pursues his passions for golfing, fishing and skiing. A natural leader, John thrives on guiding others and infusing fun into both his professional and personal life.
