With a personable and communicative approach, Nick serves as a dedicated point of contact for comprehensive financial strategies, helping clients feel supported and confident in their financial journeys.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in financial economics from the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA, in May 2006. His career began in 2012 as a financial professional with AXA Advisors in Scottsdale, AZ, where he later took on management roles from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, he joined Southwest Wealth Strategies, bringing his expertise to both Bozeman and Scottsdale, where he continues to build strong client relationships.
His practice serves a diverse clientele, with no specific niche, allowing him to tailor strategies to a wide range of financial needs. Nick’s focus is on helping clients achieve their unique goals with confidence. Nick believes that providing extra attention during critical moments is what sets him apart in the industry.
Originally from Havre, MT, Nick now resides in Bozeman, MT, with his wife, Hillary Folkvord, and their children, Olivia and Henry. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling with family, golfing, skiing, savoring great food and wine and making memories with friends and family. Nick is also actively involved in the Bozeman community, volunteering alongside his family in various local initiatives.
With a genuine passion for working with people and a deep love for his profession, Nick finds fulfillment in striving to make a meaningful impact on his clients’ lives.
